Link wont work now. :( Saw it last night tho
Went in to hot and got a twich, overcorrected and ran out of road/talent. Hit the slippy mesh stuff and lost it. Felt much more exiting in the car though, looks a bit tame on the vid  :D

What a recovery though. At least i got it facing the right way AND managed to put the wiper on :P

Yup when you hit the green webbing it's game over. Good skills on the recovery. If you 're going to spin that is the way to do it. It looked very similar to my only ever spin at KH which was exiting the chicane. Ran wide and rear wheels off on the left, did one more over correction but 360 down the middle of the track. Nobody videoing though... ;)

Try the new link above...

Cheers,
Ali

Copy and pasted quote from SIDC Re. cones

First trackday of the year for me and the misses and thoroughly enjoyed it appart from those cones. Spoke to the marshall who was doing the signing on who informed me that they had too many people going off on their driving schools, so started to put them out to assist people with the lines. Yesterday was just an experiment to gain feedback from us lot as to what we thought. If they got too much negative feedback then they would not risk the chance of losing attendees and more importantly to them, money and would remove them for future SIDC/TOP MARQUES days. I like the new widened track. Apparently it cost £300,000 to complete, but the inside of the pit straight is subsiding. This will be rectified before the first race meet in March

Think I'll send Knockhill a wee email asking that they ditch the cones idea.

yes indeed - Sin Bin.

I recall a 8 car queue at one point.

Had a few choice words swapped with Ian Forrest afterwards.

Oddly enough they saw sense when SE'rs didn't turn up to the next event which they had to cancel!

I was on track again today and they had taken away the bails. The cones were also in better postions but would still have preferred them not there at all. The track was bone dry unlike yesterday and offered lots more grip. To start with I managed to scare the sh*t out of my instructor, as i was being too "aggresive". :P Really enjoyed it and reckon i learned alot. :D

As rich said, was using up my hyperformance xmas present. Did it with my brother today as hes supposed to be driving next weekend. She reckons my pads are fecked, with less than 5000 on the clock. :?
I knew the standard ones arent the best but surely that aint right. Better get them checked before next weekend.
