Sounds like the Wacky races to me.
Drunk guy all over the road and Dom showing off his skills by following him in reverse
Good man, its easy enough to come to grief on the roads when everyone is sober and paying attention. The only type of drunk driving which is acceptable is the kind were the taxi scoops me up and takes me home.

It happened again!
This morning on my way to work, I stopped at a shop; the guy in the queue in front of me stank of alcohol. As I left the shop, I saw him staggering up to a car, get into it, and drive off. So, (on the handsfree) called the cops, and reported him and his where-abouts; followed him for a couple of miles at a safe distance (which was easy as he was only doing about 20mph), then the police swooped in and stopped him.
As per previous tail (a few years ago), I generally keep my nose out of other people's business, but, again, this was not something that I could ignore. Hopefully that's another drink driver taken off the road.

I followed someone a month or so ago, who I thought had been drinking and called the cops gave them a the details etc. I followed them for a couple of miles and then was told by the police to stop following them

Yea, I was waiting for that - the chap on the phone said to me less than a minute before they stopped him; "we now have him on the CCTV, our unit is almost there, thanks very much, bye now".. so I guess that was the same thing.

Yup, had a call from the BiBs; he's been charged with DD.
Should add, 3 police cars turned up within a minute of one another - seemed like a fairly strong response to my call!

A general broadcast would be put out for any available unit to attend - particularly for vehicle related stuff it can be hard to pin point where the cars is /has gone* so anyone not busy would head that way to ensure they dont loose them.
