On Wednesday night on my way home from work.
Your passenger looked like he was about to pop with the amount of effort he put into waving at me
My wife has seen your car about town but thats the first of me spotting it.

How brilliant is that - a VX220 with a number plate that reads JUNK.
At least we don't need to tell them

It's meant to be ironic and postmodern or something. Apparently. Heck, I've no idea why the previous owner put it on but I definitely can't be arsed to change it. Anyhow, it refers to the driver, not the car

Ah, twas you! As I say my wife has seen you in Kirkcaldy a few times.
The young lad in your passenger seat looked like he was going to wet himself with excitement when he spotted me!
Drive home was spoiled a bit by the resurfaced sections of the road which still had lots of loose bits on it
You drive that road a lot? My in-laws live in Auchtertool so it is a section of road i get to practice fairly frequently.

Yeah, that was annoying - 10mph for me in places
I'm up in Kirkcaldy at least once a week or so - parents-in-law live there. Only just discovered that route though

. It's a good drive but the dips sometimes make me nervous (I'm Captain Slow). Also there are those flowers at the roadside as you leave Kdy following the recent fatality on that road I believe
I think you were the first other VX my wee man had seen while in mine so he got a bit excited...TBH he's soon going to be a bit difficult to fit in the car I think. I have him in a child seat with a proper harness but he's nearly outgrown it and I don't believe the booster style seats are safe in a VX.

Thought I'd add my tuppence here after reading your comments about your son. I had my friends kids out in the 340R last night and they had their booster seat in it - they could see better than I could - think I need my own!! Anyway, the only problem was that the harnesses were a bit big, but as they were only going for a wee run round the block, it was fine! Never seen so many kids in Glenrothes get excited at a car!

I'm a bit of a wuss too to be honest. I've only been on one road run with VX/Elise boys and I was pretty slow compared to Craig and Scott. Car is a bit better now that I've replaced the Spax with the standard stuff but I'm still not the quickest
The flowers do make you think though. It was a young boy (21) who lived in my in-laws street in the village. Had a Civic VTi I believe- killed his two mates too

Makes you realise you're not invincible.
