As some may or may not know, Rangers were drawn in the Champions league group of death last week, one of the ties is against the mighty Barcelona so 5 of us have decided to make the trip across to watch Ronaldinho tear us a new one ! Tuesday 6th nov to Thurs 8th nov

On that back of this does anyone recommend the best place to stay in Barca and where the main nightlife is located.

La Ramblas is busiest area & probably best to stay as near to there as poss - best place for nightlife too. Keith

get a hotel on La Ramblas, fantastic place. I stayed there four year ago, loved it. Right in the heart of things.

And thats supposed to be one of the "cheaper" places in the area..

I'd recommend Las Ramblas, too.

as an alternative, and not too far out of town (about 15-20mins on a cheap train) is Sitges, which has a nudist beach...

...it's also popular with.. erm... 'same sex' couples.

Now, before you shoot that idea down in flames, last time I was there a couple of fit, naked lesbians were putting on a free show in the surf...
