great fun lads - good to see you all and had a blast on track. Wasn't as scary as i thought, until that spin on the 3rd gear corner before railway.... a very brown moment.

Shug, Alix said she was sure you were behind me when the car let go - any recollection?

Shame I missed the beers...fell asleep at 7.30. All this track melarky is great fun but bloody tiring! :D

Managed to do a fair bit of SE spotting from the edge of the track, but who was driving the yellow S1 exige (with R decal) and the tricked up red s2?

Both were looking and sounding gorgeous 8)
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

I think the S2 was mine, with Exige wheels on? Nearly got evicted for the noise though! Its was peaking at 104db at 4.5k rpm! :P

Genius outing, but once the adrenalin wore off, i was in tatters.

Hi fellas,

was pointed over here to see some of the pics - well done to the photographers :thumbsup

I was in the GT3 and yup, I was very slow - mostly to do with my sticking rear caliper, didn't want to go quick down the straights as I didn't know if I'd have brakes at the end of it  That combined with struggling to get my bearings/braking points (I blame too early a start, a 40 minute lecture at -1C and a basic lack of talent) meant I was having a sh1tty day so went home after lunch. Was a bad day in general for us as the RS suffered from a defective tyre and the TVR was with us - it'll polish out though

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks - good driving standards all round and some particularly good control of the circular thing from one of you in a Red Elise/Exige/? (sorry don't know the models enough to differentiate) :D

What speed were you doing at entry? In the sprints of course we would be staionary at the concrete pit lane so your speed there would be added to any accleration speed. with hindsight I perhaps should say it was an 80 plus corner

One being me then? :D

Remember the weight penalty that us Skyline's carry compared to the Lotus's. I was running under 400bhp so not really big brake horsepower. If you work out the power to weight it is probably very equal if not more to you guys. Especially the Honda and Toyota engined amonst you. :D 8)

It certainly seemed like that on track to me. My car was also out with Susan behind the wheel and it was her first trackday so she did pretty well if you ask me. :D 8)

There was a dark silver R34 as well, who was bloody slow.... My g/f was yelling at him in the corners to get the f**k out of the way and that was her first time driving the Elise.

Were you the R32 I had a few laps with at the end? Well driven, definately, but we expected them to be pulling away on the straights and it just didn't happen...

Yes I was the Red R32. And those last few laps were excellent. :D 8)
Considering old 'Red' is 12 years old and only worth IRO £8,000 I think she does quite well.

I'd agree that the track suited your light weight'ness. It is a bike track after all.  (Just clutching at straws for excuses now.)

The guy in the silver R34 admitted to not being that quick. Mind you if my car was worth £40k+ I'd be taking it slightly easier. I haven't a clue what bhp he is running but I suspect not alot. :?
