hello everyone,
been lurking for a while picking up interesting tips and knowledge from here and seloc...am looking for a second car and have got it down to an elise (s or r not sure yet) or a boxter s...
had a great drive in elise last weekend and if we can get the right price i'll hopefully be a new member of the elise community...although the porsche is quite tempting too...

If you can stretch to the R rather than the S, I'd recommend going for that one. You'll love 2nd cam!
Oh, and get that crazy idea of buying the porsche out of your head right now! An Elise will provide much more fun!

thanks for the kind welcomes!
I've only driven the S so far but think I'll be very tempted by the R, I do like a bit of raw straight line speed.
I was very impressed by the Elise, but then I was by the Boxster too, very suprised infact at how well it handled although I was very underwhelmed by the non-s variant which felt a bit sluggish...
will have to see what price mmc can do on an R if we can get it down into our price range then I'll think we'll probably go for it! then it'll just be a case of choosing colours...at the moment I love the Ice Blue with black wheels but my partner likes the midnight blue, with black wheels and white stripes! ah choices choices...
