Hi Mike

I wouldn't have thought so, and you'll benefit from having someone who really knows what they are doing.

I used CLCM at the weekend (7 am pre knockhill) and Willie did a genial job on the car. He is also very familiar with Elises & Exiges. As you saw it was fairly confidence inspiring, and it only cost £32! :D :D

Very happy with it and happy not to be relying on me to set it up. His equipment for the Geo must have cost a small fortune...its like something out of star wars. :D

If you want his number let me know, he's just round the corner from Murrays.

If by alignment gear you mean tracking then that can be set with some string and axle stands

If you mean John Bear 4 wheel laser alignment then that's a few Ks and as Andy said see Wullie at CLCM

That can also be done with some string of course adding a small plumb bob and some mdf

Young Mark Hutcheson can set your car up and corner weight it so long as you have adjustable platforms. He uses string and experience for great results. Scottish Hillclimb Champion.
he's in Banchory :) mark@racing.plus.com

Got a thumbs down from me. I think if you can't stay while he does it, don't get it done there. Mine came back with a squint steering wheel and I had to load the car up with weights before taking it down as he doesn't have enough. I'll be going to Mark in Banchory next.
