We have done this as a corporate day for a couple of years now and its pretty much the best trackday available for sampling diferent cars.
My personal favourite is the Jag with sequential box , amazing power ,handling and brakes
130mph is easily attainable down the back straight and the instructors are all professional drivers who wil push you hard
(I had VBH's brother who incidently is far prettier than VBH!!)
They also have a gravel circuit with EVO 8'S which is worth a go if you get the chance
Take a fleece or a jacket cos its Feckin Freezing this time of year

Fantastic day start to finish. the setup they have and the layout of the circuits is fantastic. If it wasn't so far away I'd be there for a few trackdays in the Lotus.
I'm not a fan of single seaters but the FPA are quick and great to drive. It's a real leep of faith relying on the aerodynamics for the last 2 corners on the West Circuit.
The Jags are mighty quick as well. You can't drift them though and have to be really tidy or they spin instantly. Brakes make your eyes pop out and the sequential change is brutally efficient.
911's are good as well although the tiptronic dampens things a bit. I feathered the throttle ever so slightly out of a chicane to get over to the right for the next quick left hander. Ended up about 100 metres into the infield with bits of grass in the wipers and all the dash lights on
. The instructor just said start her up and lets go................
The Clio's can be absolutely hammered. Full sequential shifts up & down. I had a guy Rob Jenkinson as an instructor (races Caterham CSR260's). The Clio has dual controls so on the tight corners he was trailing the brake to get the front to turn in.
It's good chuckle factor watching all the spins and 'moments' when not on track.
It'll be mega, enjoy

Thats what I like about Scottish Elises, a member so unselfishly offering to give up their time to ensure another member is not dissappointed in life.Dominic wrote: best plan is I'll take your place on it, that way you'll be able to really appreciate the Atom
