I remember a few people had a couple of sets of half worn front bridgestones. My front left is almost down to the wear indicator after yesterday! :S

Mine have gone I'm afraid, last week.

arrrrgh! Ah well that will teach me for not taking the car out sooner.
Do tyres become illegal when they are below legal tread depth across 3/4 of the tyre?

yeah I replaced my rears which had about a mil to the depth indicators and noticed a massive difference in grip with the extra tread.
problem is the fronts have taken a bit of a beating from the mad understeer/dry track/lots of right handers/sh*t driver combo. About 1 mil from the leftmost depth indicator on the left front and probably about 2-3 miles from the indicator on the outside of that tyre. The right hand tyre is pretty much ok all round.

Cut them down the middle, and carve in some tread and I could stick them on my front wheels!Tom wrote:Andy, I have a pair of A048's, rears, 1 careful owner, never tracked. When would you like to take delivery?
