Had my Roof refurbed by Lotus (Pictures)

Post by Sanjøy » Sun Mar 12, 2006 8:40 pm

£40 bargain of the year.

Roof was re water proofed, ripped stitching at the edges (8 years old) was re stitched, broken plastic strip at the front replaced and stitched all the way across. Elastic straps were also renewed. Over all I am very happy with it, roof seems much tighter and there no longer seems to be the dip I thought was caused by old bows.

Looks good.

I was thinking of buying a new one on Ebay but I might give that a go instead.
Did you do it through the dealer or direct with Lotus?
How long did it take?
How much for postage?

So many questions.....

Cheers.

Have to go through a dealer, they then send it off then it gets sent back to Lotus in about 2.5 weeks. Unbelievably the price INCLUDES P&P. Puts a little faith back in Lotus customer service. Will defo get my side pockets done by them.
Pauline & Graham & MMC sorted for me, star of the show was Stephen C who lent me his soft top while he has his hard top on.

PS Stephen I did not think you were back form the Alps this weekend else would have dropped off the roof & Cat. Left them at my mums in Bden. Will come through and drop them off.
