Just booked mine for 5th/6th November. Thinking I might look for a cheap flight down then hire car from airport rather than putting the miles on the car. Anyone done that before?

They've got more dates available: 12th/13th and 19th/20th November.

Booked 12/13th Nov. Ryan Air £22 for 2 people + £50 for 2day car hire.

Hope it is worth it. Has anyone been and how was it.

Stanstead I'd imagine Dezzy, can't be all that far? Ryanair fly there from Prestwick quite a few times a day.

ETA: as above, you can often get return flights for £25 all in per person.

Just tried them and it's pretty expensive compared to Ryanair, but I'll need to way up cost of hire car + ryanair vs. flybe. Not sure if Norwich airport is close enough to get public transport or taxi. If I still need a hire car, then ryanair will be cheaper.

If your flying Ryanair Dezzy, your welcome to leave the car here, i'm only 5 minutes from the airport, running you in would not be a problem. I'd look after the car well of course :drive
