Knockhill Novice Car Trackday - 24th Nov - 9.30-11.30

Post by Andy G » Thu Oct 25, 2007 10:28 am

Let me start by saying if it was me i'd be doing the SIDC day that John runs, but i know some people are very nervy about first time track outings - so thought i'd post up in case this appealed to any of our newbies!

If you've never done it before but always wanted to ...then here's your chance. We have organised a trackday for all first-timers. Get on track with like minded trackday virgins and find out how much fun you can have with your clothes on! This is your chance to experience the thrills of Knockhill. This 2 hour open session will start you off. THIS IS ONLY FOR NOVICE TRACKDAY CUSTOMERS.

I got an email form Knockhill about this today too. Was already considering signing up for the SIDC afternoon for my first open track day having already done the KH Track Day School and the HyPerformance course. When I read this I thought this Novice Day sounded like a good intermediary step.

Then I thought again about the few threads that already exist on here about avoiding the Hot Hatch days and sticking to Hot Marques (or SIDC, AMP3 type days etc). Will this not possibly be like a Hot Hatch day with lots of inexperienced drivers ?

If it was a Novice Marques track day on the other hand….
