That was my earlier point, on a trackday it is unlikely the driver will have the ability or the opportunity to fully exploit the performance. Will it be that much quicker than a £40K Radical on slicks?
too true Shoomy.. or a 40K nascar Esprit for that matter..

I reckon it'd be pish at KH - not getting enough speed to make full use of the aero - but it'd be a larff finding out

aye - into Duffus and out of Clarke's and some decent push over the crest up oit staight and that's yer lot.. about 5-7 secs of the total lap max.. tho if you can carry mroe through Clarke's it would do a lot for a KH lap time.. i.e. fastest turn onto a straight.
I like it - it's different and better than the insane hypercars coming out.. light is best for track after all but better than a SR8..

na.. and jst wait for the new fixed top Raddy's to come out..
how does 3G compare to the downforce of LMP cars.>?

'only' 1.12 iirc so was gobsmacked to see the Capparo time.. of course Tg conveniently chose to ignore both. A raddy did it in about 1.12 a cpl of yrs back but again discounted.

It would be epic at Oulton or Cadwell (some the track certainly!)
Down the start straight and all the way round to just before mountain would be epic if you could pull 3G's

the next episode of Top Gear wrote:Jeremy does his bit for global warming, sort of, by encouraging drivers to ditch their Range Rovers and Porsche Cayennes in favour of a 500bhp estate car.
James takes the Alfa Romeo 159 to the Humber River for a race against a very tall man wearing a giant condom.
Richard and James cause a few sleepless nights in the Ecclestone household by inventing a wildly destructive new motor sport.
The new Honda Civic Type-R tries its luck on the test track.
And England rugby hero Lawrence Dallaglio squeezes himself into our reasonably priced car.
Important bit for me highlighted, this will end 7 months of endless arguements on the CTR forums and start a whole new set, as the owners of the EP3 (previous version) argue with FN2 (new car) owners over which is the best
All depends on the tracktime, over 1:32.8 and we (EP3 owners) get to act smug.
Very similar to the S1 v S2 debate only in the case of the Honda's its the older model that is the superior car

Do you still own your EP3 Kenny?
Or was that a slip of the tongue, showing that the ol' breadvan still has a place in your heart

EK9 and DC2 both miles better than the EP3 anyway

The EK9 wasn't really that great too be honest, would much rather have an EP3. Goes without saying that the DC2 is fantastic.
Rory, CTR is sold, more a choice of words than slip of the tongue.

English Channel was episode 2.
For me it was the best TG I have seen.
Try to get a copy of it....really, really worth watching!
