Thinking of Selling

Post by anthonyyule » Tue Nov 20, 2007 5:13 pm

Hiya,

Im kinda looking around at the moment about selling my lovely yellow wee lotus Exige n/a. Its a fantastic thing, but it just isnt getting used, I find myself using the fiesta more and more and more.

With kids just round the corner, we need something bigger and well, even just a little bit more practical.

Im not going to go right into the spec - this isnt the thread for that, but it has got the premium preformance pack, its a 55 plate, and its done about 10K miles.

Any thoughts - or takers!

Thanks for any advice. I want to get the price right before I advertise. Im not in a rush, but I want to advertise it competitively too!

I'd give you a tenner for it, but its too heavy... sorry

Not a good time of year to be selling - market is flooded around now with people looking to pick up bargains. Best bet is to have a check around pistonheads and autotrader for similar cars, then pitch it at round the same price....

And on the first sunny day in the spring you are going to be sat in the new car and are going to say

"Oh bugger"

Aye..........

Im tentatively looking at a new BMW 135i Coupe (3 litre twin turbo jobbie)
Yes, so its soft compared to the Lotus - but I do miss my toys!!
Seriously, this probably will happen, but I need to get some more enjoyment from the Exige first (read spring/ summer next year!). SO, I need to get a couple of road trips in first - ireland perhaps, north of scotland - if you are so interested?

Talk later, and yes we can get those beers in when your home.

Don't do it! That thing gets my vote as the ugliest, most ill-proportioned new car since the Ford Scorpio :puke .

Can anyone think of a worse looking car launched in the last 10 years? Same engine in a 3 series coupe would be very nice though, if expensive.

I looked into a scorpio a few years ago, was offered it cheap. yes it's ugly as sin and you would have to tint the windows so nobody saw you but it had all the toys, vauxhall omega's are the same.

as for Ugly car's in the past ten years....... S2 :P ;)
