2 cheap S1,s at glasgow auction

silver S1 V reg reserve 6800 50k miles.

burnt orange S1 1 14k one owner very nice.....never sold tonight.

heard a sniff that 7100 was the money.


got a photo of the orange one it looked nice.

just thought id let the troops know.

An orange S1 for £7k could be a lot of fun! But ironically really low mileage S1s often need a lot of work to pick up the various areas that Lotus improved on with later revisions, so not always the bargain they seem.

Nonetheless, if cossetted in a garage and used on dry summer Sundays only, could be a steal.

But you just never know eh ;-)
