My mate drives a Fiat (tosser

) but he's having car troubles. He only knows Arnold Clark and their ripping him off. Any suggestions for honest mechanics in the Aberdeen area.

Please tell your mate not to mess this guy around - he is so good and so busy he doesn't take work from off the street - get your mate to tell him that Tony Gibson - the guy with the Caterham told him to go there.

Obviously depends how convenient he wants it to be but we've had a few cars with this guy (including the Elise) and he's been great.

Accross the road from arnold clark on Whitemyres there is a garage called autoquick. 691818. I've used them for years for general stuff. ask for a guy called steve deans.
about 4 years ago arnold clark ripped my brother in law off by over a grand for fannying around with the ABS pump on his brava. turned out it was a £20 wheel sensor ring... tossers.

Station Garage in Kintore have a good reputation with Fiat Coupes if I remember.
I use Lochside (724232) for general mechanical stuff.
it will run further without petrol than it will without oil
