Dunno tho, was contemplating an Elise SC this year so never know that might still happen.
Sorry to hear that. I am the last person who should preach to anyone about driving standards, but if you get it, just chill. Burst pipe & flooded road - not your fault either, you were unlucky.

Gary.

Cheers again guys, and Dom for the BD call

Yeah today proved just how tough the Elise really is, for a plastic go-kart it can really stand up to the test in a heavy accident. Dont fancy ever doing it in one again tho as the experience of the soft top peeling away, the front windscreen frame squashing, windscreen shattering and the top of my head just scraping the road have given me alot to think about.

If i do ever get something like the Elise again, it will be a dry weather car only. This 1 was supposed to be a dry day only car, but sometimes just had the urge to use it, wish i had managed to fight that urge today tho.

Lesley hit a big bit of standing water and ripped heatshield on the underside on the Laguna..
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Glad you are ok.
The car has done its bit by keeping you in one piece. Now let the insurance company do their bit by getting you in another car.
