Just had a reply from castle kennedy they are not keen on a "high speed" event as they have recently resurfaced.

They want to know how many,when, what type of event and how much I want to pay.

If the access roads are in decent enough condition we could set up a sprint course.

hard to tell from the photograph, they did say they have recently resurfaced and are a little worried about us wrecking it, I have to say I am a bit of a fish out of water with this as I have never organised anything like it. If anyone has any idea's or wants to provisionally put there name forward as interested feel free. It would also have to be in the summer as I don't have a working car yet

I also get the feeling they have never done anything of this sort either.

Probably worth pointing out that the planes are more likely to wreck it than lightweight sports cars

One of my friends was in a car club (ss-r i think?) and they hired Glenrothes Airport for an afternoon/evening. It was a couple of year ago though.

They used the main runway plus some of the side bits to add a few corner and bends and make a bit of a course.
