Long time no see. Stuart also sent me a program and I saw your name driving the Porsche in the Classic S&S race.

See you there.

Just to confirm that everybody with a Lotus or Caterham is welcome along to both join in the static display, Concours section, and Parade lap of Lotus, and they will get in for half price.

The limitation will only be on the number that can take part in the track session, as it will almost certainly be over subscribed, and I do not know yet how many places we will have.

Members on other Forums feel free to pass on this invitation to your group, we are after the largest gatering of Lotus's that we can achieve, but track places unfortunately will only be available to SE due to numbers.

Very slowly looking at the video. They probably just paraded as opposed to opening up, which would be a shame.

Twill take me time to check out all three DVD's.

Stirling Moss was an old hero of mine. I use to live next door to Oulton Park, so in the '50's I was watching the likes of Fangio, Moss, Hawthorn, Collins.

Most paraded but two of them opened them up after a couple of laps and were certainly pushing on a bit.

Stirling Moss is fantastic - always happy to chat to bystanders - needed a set of steps to get into the Vanwall :)

Is that 2nd picture taken at a funny angle or is there really such a gradient down to the first corner which I have never noticed before ?

Cameras usually 'flatten' a hilly track. Have never stood down there as a spectator and must be too focussed on the turn in point when driving.

I think the photo has exagerated it as it is not a steep slope.

Scott

If you are able to provide the Marquee then that would be great, and fine with Stuart.

All the Lotus cars will have their own display area, and it will be upto ourselves how we split it. I do not know anybody from the traditional or official Lotus Clubs yet, so I will see after the meetings if they wish to keep the Classic cars together, and likewise with ourselves.
