Elise in horses field before Knockhill?

Post by Daveb » Mon Feb 18, 2008 10:54 am

I was coming down the road from dropping a car off at Knockhill on Saturday early doors, people were just starting to turn up for the hot marques.

As I got to the crossroads there was a blue elise sitting in the field where the horse normally lives.

Bet the horse was p****d about you being in his field. :)

Think this was just prior to the novice track event in the morning as opposed to the hot marques which was on in the afternoon.

I went past that way about 0930 and it wasn’t there, but a mate who came up a bit later to watch me and get a pax saw it in there just before 10am.

I am pretty sure it was one of the two blue S1s on the novice day – neither of them post on here.
Was speaking to them both. I forgot about this but think it was the slightly older bloke who said he had only had the car 6 weeks or so and brought it up for his kids to drive on the track. He was late in arriving and I noticed he had some damage on the lower offside. He, or his kids, also visited the gravel a few times during the morning. Remember him saying to me at the end ’twitchy little buggers, aren’t they ?’

Driving it through a field first might just have affected the handling?
