Sounds like you all had a good day at KH. I managed to convince the other half that it was on the way back home, but I'm pretty sure she worked out that I was lying when the journey lasted an extra hour or so!!! Was good to see so many Loti together. I've only seen about 3 on the roads so to see them all was great. It was just a shame that I didn't have time to walk around and meet you all. Saw who I can only assume is Mass desperately trying to fill up a Cup Racer, obviously to get back out on the track asap! Cant fault you, Mass. :thumbsup Wasn't hard to work out which one was Andy G (maybe the Atom gave it away  )

Got glaring looks from the missus shortly after that so had to go home. I get the feeling she doesn't quite get the 'Track day' mentallity yet. Hopefully she'll get to like it eventually :| Maybe :?:

Next time I'll try to see a bit more, and say hello to everyone. Not sure I've got the bottle to take mine out on the track tho!

Andy

Once had a '2006 Lotus Europa - bit more power version' but it leaked real bad!
I'm the unluckiest guy in world when it comes to cars, the last 12months being proof of that!! Why couldn't I just love uncomplicated things instead........................?

It's yesterday now but I had a great time. Especially once I'd had something to eat to make brain work.
Good to see my big bro, and for him to take me out in my car to show me how it's done! The man has no fear!!!
Really nice to meet everyone special, thanks to Neil for helping out with excellent driving advice and petrol station advice.. was down to absolutely empty as I pulled into the forecourt! Pretty knackered today what with 340 miles of driving but can't wait to get booked up for next SIDC and try to drive better, faster and harder!! Excellent!

Oh and thanks Andy for your encouraging words in your post.. much appreciated! :thumbsup

The instructors comments regarding the gravel didn't make me nervous at all!

re: falling off the road into gravel and flipping over like a pancake on heat (more or less what the instructor said beforehand)...not exactly what you want to hear just before your 'first time' on track in you new car when you're a bit nervous already... but i suppose they have to tell you so you're not surprised when you end up upside down.. hmmm.

really glad it was dry though i think I may have passed out in fear had i been out in the wet with ferg at the wheel! I don't think i make a good passenger.. I was shaking when he pulled into the pits! but exhilirated!!!!(that doesn't look right)..

Had a great day out yesterday even though it stayed dry all day

My car was going well for a change which was nice only problem was that Lynda managed to melt my front slicks down to the canvas  , so ended up with slicks on the front and 888's on the rear which will probadly be the way i run it from now on as it really let you steer the car on the throttle

Was also good to see everyone again 8)

A couple of pics of my 3 wheeler

Any more feel free to post them up

Thank you very much Kenny for the px laps, great driving. I just can't believe the speed you can take the corners at and it just sticks :o awesome. :D

The px laps in Ed's Caterham were great too thank you. :D

Thank you also to Jamie for taking my brother out for some px laps, he was very impressed and complimenting your driving and the car :)

Really looking forward to Kames now :drive

I spotted your car parked near me (very nice colour by the way). Sorry I did not have the time to say hi. You have already gathered I was busy filling up (for the third time) with only 15 mins to go.

Please come and say hello next time.
:cheers

Pug has a exhaust and induction kit with about 170bhp but weighs 1200kg  Bit to loud for my liking on the road, but perfect on track

edit; 170bhp 9 years ago....maybe not now:lol:

The SIDC day seems to have good effect on everyone who attended. Hope more virgins will venture onto the track this season. Its a crime not to track your Lotus. Tracking does not not always mean crashing or intimidation.

More SEers the merrier.
