I would actually pay to see you try and haul your fat ass up a climbing wall.... My sides are hurting just thinking about it!

There's a climbing wall just along the road also if you fancy it?
/thread drift

You guys don't know a chap called Robert McMurray from your climbing exploits do you? He's got an azure blue 111s (sure he bought it coz I got mine  ) who's off climbing every other weekend, normally to the alps for some ice-climbing iirc.

Always fancied it meself - you n shug pros or can you take a newbie along for sh!ts n giggles?

/thread drift over
I've only ever climbed in Glasgow, but have never heard of this chap anyway. Both meself and Andy are relative newbies at this lark ourselves - the real Jedi master is Hambo (the bloke who's doing this engine with me)

Not sure how the Edin wall Andy's talking about would be with non-members turning up without a member - may require a starter test or summit.... But if you're through in Glasgow any time I'm free, you're very welcome to come along to the club I'm a member of (Glasgow Climbing Centre in Ibrox)

Shugs been at the climbing lark for longer than me. I'm still in the learning curve, but once you know how the knots and ropes etc work you are good to go :D

I'd be game as well. Haven't been for a few years, and rope skills have always been a bit dodgy(due to mostly free climbing). Am now older and fatter and more susceptable to gravity  , and therefore will need to learn some rope skills.

Dom & Hambo were talking about Ratho at some point in the near future - will keep updated.

At last a sport in the Chapman ethos... :D

...helps if you're built like a racing snake.

Shug, previous career? You weren't a cat burgalar were you? :)

Oddly enough - I'd be up for that too.

Been a while since I seen a climbing wall, when I was 16-17 but quite happy to make an arse of myself.

PS: Previous employment - does that mean you've given up perving?
