Have used Eggar Lawson, think now branded Competition Car Insurance spookily enough, for trackdays for years. Great bunch, and their primary focus is the sprint, hillclimb and rally types I believe.

They're good John, I've used them a few times (twice IIRC) for trackdays - £120 a pop I think it was.

If you're looking to insure the car for the road too, they do full cover including 4 trackdays a year :)

It was more for the full blown competition insurance... track day stuff doesnt cover you for timed events. I know you do get it, just wondered if anyone on here had looked into it before...

I used them a few years back for my rally car. Thats a bit different as it needs to cover you for road miles and road miles between stages (i.e. during competition but not when actually competeing) but didn't cover stage miles, as no one in their right mind would. CCI were a good, efficent company to deal with. All they required was a basic description of the car (not detailing anally every mod), that the car be garaged (were fine with me keeping it a few doors away) and a few pics of the car to be insured. I think it cost me, at the age of 22, £120 for 6 months insurance for a fully caged 205 with hardly a standard bit on it.

Then I discovered I couldn't drive fast for sh*t :D
