As above - stopped to re-fuel ,put the key into the cap and it was really hard to turn - after a bit of effort it released and the lock turned in the cap. Still didn't release so I pulled the key out - along with the barrell which then proceeded to deposit bits of plastic and metal on the forecourt.
After a while I gave up

and drove home - still needing fuel.
Any ideas of how to remove lock less, but locked, cap would be most welcome as I reckon I have about 30 miles of running left before it runs out.
Will new cap be covered on warranty - if not where do I get one and what sort. Keith

Cap should be covered by the warrenty, have you tried poking your finger in the hole and turning it.

Off topic but your username rings a bell! Did we spank a 8 car overtake past someone i am sure on the A68 on Sunday with a plate like yours?!? Hesitant to wave as we did pass one Lotus, and the guy looked at us like we were freaks! Now i know i aint the best looking, but to stare at me like i was from another country was weird!

Yup that was me - just about Castleside /Allensford, I had just left my brothers house to head home when I was buzzed by the mighty Atom. Was past me before I registered what /who it was - all efforts to follow were in vain.
