It's less than an hour from glasgow - so if you wanted to get somewhere in Glasgow - there'd be more to do on the Friday night?catrionaD wrote:is there anywhere nearby to stay overnight the night before... If i come down on the day i'll have to be up at about 5am... shudders at the thought..
Otherwise there's somewhere like this:

However there's nothing to do in Muirkirk at night, and I mean nothing! I wouldn't venture into any of the pubs.

this seems like a good timke to advertise big nizzy's inflateable bed and breakfast*.
I await the edit from bed to doll
*breakfast isn't really included but I could be persuaded to nip out for some rolls in the morning

Hiya
Would it be Ok if we just came down to check it out and say hello? Never been on track with the car yet and not sure how it all works.

Yeah, anyone who wants to is welcome to come along and spectate.
I've just read on the EACC forum the new toilets and showers aren't expected until the beginning of May, but the rest of the place has had a lot of work done over the last few weeks and is looking first class.

Woody I'd planned to take part but it's my daughters birthday party that night. Afraid I'd lose points with 'control'
I'll try and make it down in the morning to spectate

Woody, I'm another who said I'd be interested, at this stage I think I might only be able to pop down for a bit to spectate. Sorry
