Hello from Fife!

Post by allyrennie » Sun Apr 06, 2008 10:29 pm

Evening all,

Thought I would introduce myself and say hi!

I Was advised to join yesterday by a current member, Mr X7LDA after I had detailed his car so Hi, hello and please be kind!

So without searching can I give you all my problem:- At some point this year I will hopefully be investing in a toy for occasional driving and possibly track days. Although I know what the answer is probably going to be, current considerations would include Elise, mx5(sorry), TVR (sorry again), vx220 (runs and hides) - your possibly all going to be biased but if you had the choice all over again what would you go for?!

Cheers and hello again!

Alistair

Hi Alistair!!

Welcome to the forum!!

All I'll say is that you will never regret buying an elise/exige... however you may well regret NOT getting one if you buy anything else!!

Have fun... B :thumbsup

Go for an Elise or Exige, VX220 nice, but not the real thing
TVR - expect engine rebuild every 15k miles and the bills associated with anything to do with a TVR best described as
MX-5? - did you accidentally fall on your keyboard and put together that horrible combination?

ACTUALLY one thing to consider would be Andy G's Atom 3, now that would make you <BG>

Keep the opinions coming lol!!! What about a 340R to throw another into the equation?!

Meant to say in my original post, I can supply that wax with the 5 letter name that starts with a Z ( Sorry, not allowed to say the name unless I want to pay the annual advertising fee........£5k..... ) at a discounted rate. If you want a price on any of this product drop me a line and I can let you know.

Cheers!
