I should be free from about 12pm although don't know either if this time is appropriate. You would probably be passing my door DMW if you fancy making a wee run out of it ?

Excellent website you've got there FD.
Was very impressed with all the driving today. Looks like it takes a lot of balls, something i hope to find out for myself at some point this year.

I went from almost being physically sick in the morning to loving it in the afternoon.
Was good to see a fair few SE folk there, the support was very much appreciated.
Just about to head out to do it all again

Good weather, a couple of hours watching some fearless motorsport and good company (

cheers douglasgdmw and his wife) followed by a wee run home over the Dukes Pass. Great way to spend an afternoon.
Best of luck again today FD and Mac.

Thanks guys - It was a great weekend, and Doune is something else when it comes down to challenging yourself.
I'll post up a full "report" tomorrow at some point, but at the moment I'm far to tired. Driving for less than 4 mins can do that to you

Congrats on the Personal Best. Popped along on Saturday and we had a great time spectating. Watched from the top of the hill, the incline looked pretty scary (Laguna Seca in reverse).
Great to meet up with a fellow SE member (DJ) but did have difficulty spotting others, maybe we should have a special way of recognising each other

(did look for the Puma Speedcat's tell tale signs also but chosen footwear was Sparco's surprisingly enough)
Do not know if anyone tried the coffee shop but the cakes were very nice although we were the youngest ones in the coffee shop at the time.
Cheers

Took the wee fella along to Doune today and we both really enjoyed it - first time at a hillclimb but certainly not the last. Great to be so close to the action and to see so much commited driving from a bunch of people who are obviously very passionate about what they do
Free entry as well.......Bernie Ecclestone eat your heart out
Renmure - was it you I spoke to briefly in the car park ? S1 Exige in your avatar looks familiar (and very

)

Entry won't be free at the next event in June.
One of the LCC memebers did say that they have never seen quite so many folk turn up to watch the April event - from where I was sitting I think it was mostly SE folk

Yip, that would be me. I was elise spotting in the carpark. Also spoke briefly to a couple in a "Team Scottish Elises" branded S1 who were heading off somewhere to get another elise too!!
