What about the option of running 2 cars at once? My understanding was more marshalls were needed. If this is just a cost issue it will balance out with allowing more entrants as they will get through twice as quickly (or maybe not with the extra faffing about).
The other problem is the Atoms wouldn't have room to pass the Elises by the start of the 2nd lap.....

Obviously not in my case as I'll be in the gravel (again).
