Locking wheel nuts
Re: Locking wheel nuts
Tut/Andy - no danger they will be binned. Dodgy Dave's device doesnt work on S2 locking wheel nuts (thanks very much any way Dave I will call you to arrange the safe return of the said device) It looks like Nizzy's device may save the day - should find out tomorrow. Might have a car next week fingers crossed.

Re: Locking wheel nuts
Drivers managed to get mine out after the head had cracked, thus making the key useless. The guy eventually got it by hammering a torx bit into the hollow in the head until it had a good hold, and then loosening as normal.
Might not work if the nuts have been put on too tight, though.

Re: Locking wheel nuts

If it's the flowery shape style ( I suspect it is) it's no wonder it didn't work that one had been used to take the wheel off an astra and wasn't in the best of nick

Re: Locking wheel nuts
If you phone MMC parts with your chassis number, they can order you up the correct key within a couple of days. I've had to do it more than once as they are clearly made of toffee! Binned them shortly afterwards!

Re: Locking wheel nuts
I remember wearing out several drill bit's on Kenny's locking nuts last year. Got no where. I recall Stu ended up spending hours drilling too. PITA
