Gaskets & Exhaust Mounts

Post by Alex 111s » Tue May 20, 2008 12:55 pm

Finally ordered a Larini. :D let's hope he was telling the truth when he said it was in stock and would be with me by the weekend. :damnfunny

Where can i get gaskets & new exhaust mounts for the system? (plus need to re-fit the cat for the up-coming MOT)

Thanks

Alex

Elise parts can provide gaskets, get stainless bolts from your local stockist and copper slip everything, will make life easier next year

Well, Larini even surprised me and my optomistic prediction of having it by the weekend.

One nice & shiney new Club Sport back system was sitting waiting for me when I got back to my desk just now. (was delivered to work to avoid the 'Interceptor' :blackeye )

that's my Friday night sorted.

No Photos yet. (to be honest i've not bothered to figure out posting photos yet. I know - lazy!!) the round tail pipes really fill the cut-outs in the rear panel & the projection is similar. It looked a thing of beauty lying on the garage floor but you can' see much of it through the panels. the thing that really surprised me was the wieght of the std exhaust, i'd read it was heavy but wasn't expecting that. (hope i don't need to put it back on in a hurry.)

I had a de-cat pipe on before with the std box, cat back but the Club Sport is definately raspier (& louder too.). :drive The neighbours must've loved me this morning. :finger

I won an auction on ebay and managed to pick up an 8 month old Larini Club Sport for a very fair price but chickened out of fitting it after finding a rusted mess when I took the undertray off. Daughters pal recommended Sounds of Silence in Falkirk, they took 21/2 hours but made a great job of fitting it, so much easier when the car on a ramp.
