Tut,

Unfortunately I'll have to pull out of the trackday on Friday. :( The rear damper has decided to lose its fluid which makes the handling a bit interesting when pushing on.

I'm still planning to make it down on Sunday but you can count me out of the S2 shed selection process for the track demo.

:cheers

Brian

Sorry to hear that Brian.

No chance of borrowing a spare? I think Craig has a spare Exige one which is probably the same.

If not then see you on Sunday.

tut

ps That means there is a spare place for Friday as there are now no reserves.

Sorry Greg, as it was not a pm it did not register, and I have had a lot of changes. It looks as if Craig Wallace will now be stuck on a boat, so probably another spare space.

There are no reserves now, so I will see if any come up before I leave tomorrow lunchtime.

I would of jumped at the chance months ago tut, but unfortunately I'm on nightshift all weekend and my supervisor is off longterm sick. So lucky me left to run the shift and with no leave left to take. I'm gutted to be missing this weekend

Scott (s29ttc)

I have now put the cars that have been selected for Sundays track session into an .xls file, so I will send it as an attachment to tuttowers@yahoogroups.com, but could you also do your magic for me and put it on the forum in this thread please. I will mail it to you separately.

As you will see, I have had to cut the most from the S1's and S2's as they had the most entries, so I took my name out and had a non Elise friend draw from the rest.

Hope no one minds that I put the two lassies in, and also those which only had a small number. The reserves will be:-

Cisco Exige S2 S
Ferry Lotus 7
Yvo Elise S1

If anybody wishes to do any internal swapping, that is fine by me.

phewwwwwwwwwwww!!!!

tut

ps ain't got my car back yet.

In the spirit of cross-posting between the "dinosaur" and "mainstream" technologies for SE, here's what I just posted to the Tut Towers yahoogroup:
Emotional soul wrote: A monumental collection Tut and certainly will be educational for the motorsport spectators on the day!

I particularly like Scotty's nickname, did you add that yourself.

It is totally, totally heartening to see that such a high profile slot for Scottish Elises is so oversubscribed and needs a ballot. Between that and the SE Tracknight, this was the stuff we dreamed of (well some of us) when we conceived of the group in spring 1999. I'm guessing it's like seeing your kids graduate :-)

Tut, it'll get said again a few times I'm sure, but joking apart, for a senior citizen you have done a remarkable organisation job on this and I doubt many of us "regular" organisers could have delivered to this standard.

Well done you old b*gger.

:-)

I am now so excited about the weekend I could just sh!t.

Anyone from East Fife going to KH on Saturday, please PM me. Trying to sort a logistical problem in the neatest possible way.

Cheers,
