16:45 – 17:10	Arrival, signing in, indemnity forms, driving licence check
17:30 – 17:40	Mandatory Drivers briefing. All drivers must attend this briefing, or they will not be permitted on the track. 
17:40 – 17:50	Move cars into pit lane, and obtain crash helmet if required from the building on pit lane. Passenger sign on
18:00 – 18:10	Two  5 minute warm-up/familiarisation sessions with roughly 30 cars in each group.
18:10 – 20:00	Open pit session

Sounds like it will be a great night. I'll not be able to make it as my new gearbox arrived late, after blowing my last one up on the last SIDC day, now my mechanic is off to rally syria.

Decided to cheer myself up with a weekend in cork instead.

Is anyone staying over at Andy's or Embra and going to KH speedfair on Saturday?

I'm dropping my car off for a detailing in Leven, KY8 (see: http://www.scottishelises.com/phpbb/vie ... 13&t=15244) on Saturday morning around 0800-0830.

It's a big ask, but would anyone follow me over to Leven, give me a lift to KH, then drop me back in Leven some time at the end of the day? Breakfast & lunch are on me if you can help out!

EDIT: just checked google maps, and it's about a 20 mile detour, plus back again, twice! So, there's breakfast, lunch and petrol up for grabs.

Normally I would treat this as an excuse for a couple of nice drives out, however I've dedicated the entire day on Saturday to "family stuff" given that I'm petrolheading it on Friday night and all day Sunday

However there may be an obliging Fifer reading who can do the taxi-ing from Leven to KH and back with less impact than the BBQ guests? Fingers crossed for you...oh and interested to see the results on the car!

Would have definitely helped Graeme, but unfortunately, i am out due to SWMBO wanting to finish off the decorating of our house - apparently she doesn't like living like a slob when she comes back every weekend from London!
