Thats the one Dom - I thought it was an xc 90 but then though that is the newish 4wd Volvo?

I was somewhat shocked at the size of the new one when i saw it in the flesh for the first time, but small cars are pretty huge these days. Most superminis are roughly the same length as a 90.

Saw a (no longer) Mini parked next to an S-Class merc (not sure how old,one of the long low models) - the Mini was wider higher and almost as long !!

Actually 4wd and believe it or not with a few light mods is a damn good offroader

if you all like pointless cars that in my opinion don't look that nice the new mini clubman has to be near the top of your list.

i say this because

1: It is not that mini anymore therefore shouldn't be called a mini and i am so sad i found out it is 24cm longer than the hatch.
2: The people at BMW made it for the wrong side of the road so the single passenger rear door is on the side of the road not the pavement.
and finally 3: The colors and styles that you can get on it look terrible to say the least and if you don't believe me look at the pic below.

New clubman is a very naff car... but then I think all new minis are such a naff choice (but not the ugliest).... IMHO
