Anyone have a S1 shower cape to sell?

Post by Stewart » Sun Apr 23, 2006 8:52 pm

Sicne getting my car back I very much miss my shower cape. I sold my last one to DDTB when I got rid of the car the last time.
Wondering if anyone has one that they don't use and would consider flogging. I would prefer an Elemental one and don't care too much about which colour. I see that here are some on eBay at the moment for £65 + £5 P&P.
Cheers

If you get the choice, try an get an elemental one. If I'd known how much I was going to use it I'd have spent the few extra quid getting one of those over the Elise Parts one. Better made in every way!

Never actually seen one in the flesh. I guess the only draw back if you only carried that would be getting wet when driving ?

Yep, had an Elemental one before. I always have my soft top in the car, but the cape is handy if you are stopping at the shops or somewhere and merely want to keep out prying eyes, dust, fag buts etc.
Also dead handy if you stop for lunch and you "think" it may rain, but it may not. 10 times quicker than the attaching of the roof ceremony and the crowd it attracts :)

I have an elemental one but am in the process of getting it copied and made out of breathable material, the benefit being that if left on a wet soft top the roof will dry rather than mildew. I'lll let you know how I get on.
If you're not living on the edge you're wasting too much space!

It does fold down really quite small, can be stowed in the cargo net with no problems. Kind of reminds me of these kagools I used to have when I was wee. They folded in on themselves into a big pocket on the chest and then had an elastic belt attached for wearing around your waist.
Or is that just me?

I'll get me coat (or kagool :D )
