We clearly look at cars in a different light then. :)

Whilst I like having a shiny car, I'll take great pleasure in getting it filthy on a good run. And when it does so it doesn't bother me. I care more about the experience I'm having on the inside than what anyone thinks of the outside.

Don't get me wrong. I love driving the CR in any condition and not at all worried about making it look tatty, as some of the SEers here will testify  . I just understand Sam's angle as well.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

I very much doubt that, given mass is regularly seen to be throwing his Exige over gravel and into tyres at KH

Hi Jim

I'll see what I can do. Are you thinking of getting the same?

No Mass.
I was just interested to see how they looked with the car in there.
I have had the 355 and Lotuses sitting outside in all weathers this summer as my garage converted and the new one goes up. Unbelievably the Ferrari hasn't melted in the rain, although I have to confess I prefer when it is all tucked up and snuggly under its little cover indoors

I think the paint work of Fearrai is one of the worst so they need to be looked after very carefully. May be why Ferrari doesn't offer warranty for the paint work.

Hope your garage is ready soon.

i've spent most of the weekend wishing my Elise was available to take out in the rain, MOT wednesday.

Strikes me that a move of location may be the only way round this problem - do you speak Spanish :damnfunny

It rained yesterday, quite hard. Saves me washing the elise and most of the worst filth has washed off

The clam is to keep the rocks out of the cabin/radiator, the windscreen keeps the flies off your face, the shower cape keeps some of the water on the outside, the roof stops - erm, not a lot... Each to their own of course, but I don't worry about the paint too much :thumbsup

Occasionally I have a minor relapse and clean and polish the car, but not very often! Been about 3 months now...
