Who is your jeweller Greg, or is that a secret that you can't reveal ?
More than happy to reveal - its Derek Little of Walker the Jeweller, Union Street Dundee. I can't recommend him highly enough. Not only did he let my mum and wife borrow some very expensive jewellery for our wedding, he gives me a great discount on everything I buy (except the Daytona sadly  ). I'll always buy my stuff from him, even though it means driving up to Dundee to do so :)

Drop me a pm if you need more info :thumbsup
I can concurr with Greg - got my Submariner Millenium Edition from them and my dad has been spending fortunes in Walkers over the years for my mum and we have always got top service and a decent discount (except on the sub  )

An Article in Moneyweek Magazine says that there have been more Rolex Oyster watches reported lost or stolen on Spain's Costa Del Sol than have ever been made!!

Eeee...I'm such a sheep...Read this thread, and had the urge for something to replace the £40 bob-job I bought from Next for fashion-ware...

Always fancied a decent divers watch, despite my skinny wrists, so have just bought one of these...

Not in the same league as the watches discussed in this thread, but get a decent write up anyhow - At least Seiko make & assemble all their own components... And these watches are supposed to be pretty reliable... :D

Have a 1960's Omega with leather strap which needs a service, and a 1950's Omega needing a total overhaul...

Need to keep saving for a Richard Mille...Only another 100 years to go...

Cheers,

Ross.

I was killing time in Geneva airport a couple of weeks back and browsing through the newsagents I noticed that there were no fewer than four different monthly magazine devoted solely to watches. At the time I was thinking 'jeez, who on earth is geeky enough to be that interested in watches' :? Now I know :D :D :D . Mind you , some people think an interest in cars is geeky, so each to their own....

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

I just found out that the Breitling I was planning on purchasing 'one day'... was discontinued in 2004, namely the crosswind racer with a satin strap and gorgeous blue face.

Doesn't feel like 4 years since I was trying it on... just hadn't quite got round to going back to the shop....

I'll learn one day..... maybe!

I can account for having 1 of them. Andrew C has another.

and, yes, it's been sent back to the manufacturers for a repair!
