Weddings are overrated, much more a woman thing. Use this "If you love me that much why do you need a ring and a ceramony (thats bloody god dam expensive) to show our comitment to one another. Surely if its strong enough we don't need to rush into wedding, just do it when moneys right" While thinking track days and road trips are more important, I wouldnt suggest saying this though :thumbsup
I've already used that one to get a new exhaust and some engine work done. I've been wanting to get the thing on the track since I got it back from Dan, just been really unlucky with how my shifts line up with the trackdays. Read this and thought   , prefect opportunity!! Guess not :(

Will have a word with Verian, and also Calypso who always looks after me well, and see what they think.

Scott if you are struggling with the cash the pikey option of the Englandshire tour will be considerably cheaper than the full event as you will be missing out on the cost of channel crossings and foreign digs as well as the track days. The down side is I suspect that part of it will be a riot but at a cost.

I would guess the pikey tour costs would be roughly as follows;

£200 for the 2 trackdays
£100 for two night accommodation based on pikey lodge prices
£180 for four tanks of petrol over the course of the two trackdays.
£180 for four tanks of petrol to get you there, between tracks and home
£80 for food for two days, depending on how fancy the restaurant we eat at is
£50 on drink

£790 excluding wear and tear on the car, if my sums are correct.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

For those not doing the Walshy day, is it because of the cost or just that you don't want the extra day off work?

Reason I ask is that we could probably have a mini-activity day which would cost something like each of the other track days; chuck in a bit of light hearted training and assessment early in the morning (for insurance purposes), followed by a completely non-competitive blat around Walshy's sprint circuit - 3 laps against the clock each, repeat until you run out of time, are bored or have beaten the benchmark time for your car :-)

I spoke to Neil (McApe, not NOOPS) and he would be up for giving a bit of tuition too, so in the morning we could cover two things at once, provided Walshy is cool with it - thus it would sort of be like 2x4 people days at the same time. Obviously you're not going to get much done, but it's supposed to be fun and a taster ... if you want to do more, you would need to go back on a 4 or even 2 person day.

Cheers,
Robin

Robin,

I'm on holiday the week before so was trying to limit days off work. October is now a series of 3 day weeks! If I can slot in the extra day I'd be up for the activity format at Walshy's. Going down for full Walshy day on 5/9 so it would be a good refresher :thumbsup

Cheers

Clark
