I know, but I always suspected a dodgy engine build the first time round as it was done by CRD (Calder Racing Developments) When I got the engine back off them it was tight to turn over and there was a round plastic collet in a box of left over bits? I recognise the parts as the ring which goes between the oil pump and pick-up pipe, without which there would be no oil pressure!!!! I then stripped the inlet off the car and took the oil pump off and there was no ring in place, so I fitted it! They had the books and other info like torque settings and torquing order for the head given to them by myself but if the missed out such a crucial part what else was done wrong????? :x So I suspect the head wan't fitted prpoerly as it only lasted about 1.5k miles if even that befor the head gasket failed and that was with less than a bar of boost.... Ali has it now and someone he knows who has built a few 910 engines is doing the rebuild this time so I'm confident it'll be done right this time!!!

Just dying to get it back so I can advertise it and use it a little in the sun.. 8)
