Perhaps mate, I'm big on tyres, brakes and geometry. Noticed you can buy camber plates off the web to give you some extra -ve camber at the front I assume? It's all adjustable on the elise to a certain degree isn't it (excuse the pun) - does this include castor angle?

Theres a very cheap S1 on Autotrader in Glasgow at the moment at £6.5k - assuming it is straight, that plus £4k of mods (brakes, suspension, headwork and tyres) would make a pretty nice track car.

Hi Dunc, welcome.

It was me you have spoken with (The Japanese guy who owns the Gulf CR.)

See you soon.

Are you coming to DN track night on the 20th?

Fd,

Radical Clubsport,
Powertec ZZR1100,
6 speed sequential box,
Dry sump system,
Flat slide carbs,
Adjustable brake bias (cockpit controlled),
Fully plumbed in extinguisher,
Ignition system with turn knob rev limit and timing adjustment,
3 full sets of wheels with tyres - Soft slicks, meduim slicks and wets,
Recent oil and brake fluid change.

Apart from that it's in perfect working order and nippy as any of the guys that have seen it on track will testify? (Would be good in the right hands anyway!) Anything else you'd like to know then just ask :)

Mass,

I'm at Knockhill on 19th (Track Scotland) and 25th (skyline owners club) this month but not 20th.

Cheers,

Dunc.

for track use, you'll need to get the uprated rear toelink kit. Will probably want to change pads to pagids also, tyres to R888 or A048, and suspension to Nitrons.

Then you just need to decide on engine stuff.

Probably best to look for a S1 111s with the VVC as it has more poke.

How come the uprated rear toelink kit Andy? :)

Mass, can't make that one, will only be doing the two dates mention in previous post this month - there's still spaces for 25th ;)

I am thinking of doing Croft on the 25th (a very rare full day open pit)
