Two negatives make a positive but only in Scotland do two positives make a negative - 'Aye right.'

Got that one right... Something in me thinks that he would be funny anywhere other than Scotland, but he really isn't that funny here. Too much obvious Scottish piss taking.X7LDA wrote: (Apart from Danny Bhoy, but girlf wanted to see him... <yawn>)
Re: Edinburgh Festival recommendations
Yup farrrrr to many Scottish jokes - but I guess we'd be the only ones that would understand it?? Went to see him last night - and was okay.... Not great though
On the other hand - went to see Stephan Amos tonight - frickin' hillarious!

Jason Byrne on fire tonight another

Danny Bhoy just a little too scripted and safe for me - he used to be better

Saw the BBC 2 thing @ Pleasance, 2 out of 4 were good, Phil Kay always impresses.

Re: Edinburgh Festival recommendations
My recommendation is to blag a table in the Pleasance's courtyard, and try and drink your own weight in beer...
(At least, that's what I did Friday / Saturday...
)
Kinda wished I'd made the effort to catch a show or two, but ended up at Hibs v Falkirk on the Saturday, and it all went downhill from there...
Apparently Bill Bailey was v. funny...Anybody go to see him?
Cheers,
Ross.
