Whats worse is I am on the hunt for a hard top. Open, the Elise is as aerodynamic as a brick. Hood on, cat sh!t off a shovel

.
Pit this way, how many elise trophy guys race with their roofs down............eh...eh.
Any day, out to play the roof will still come off though.

No not this year, winter strip down starts early. Car will be in bits by the end of Sept. Engine out for change and data logging system to get fitted plus a few other things to get done.
Hopefully planning a full (as many as I am off for) season next year.

Will be eventually. Couple of bits and bobs to sort out before the final spec is decided, at the moment I seem to need to run 105 octane fuel for the figures I want

, so will have to drop the CR a bit more and run more boost but getting there. Will run with a NA engine through the first part of next year. Usual stuff with piper sprint cams, hoping for about 240bhp, should be fun

. Car is also on a diet

, unfortunately I am not

I never thought of putting the top on when I was in the Championship, but it would have certainly made sense at Knockhill.
Ali and I were getting the max 32 points anyway in the dry, so we never really thought about it. However it would have got harder each year to have beaten our own records.

All characters appearing in this post are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
Any references to laptimes, speed or driving on the public highway are purely for dramatic effect.

Yep, needed them that day.
Not that it did me any good speedwise, I had screwed up with the tyres so was pretty pathetic.

Yep, still off the road as no tax, insurance, MOT etc, and no need to use her at the moment, so safely tucked up in the bikeshed, soon to be transferred to the Garage when it is completed.
A few small things to finish off, but externally at least, she looks like new.

Knew that resurrecting N1 would bite me in the ass.
Still regret it in some ways, but it finally had to be done. Have to leave it sellable for Verian when I go to meet Obi.
