Tell them that I can not now make it, so you are taking my place. Not that I am booked in, but they are always flexible.

Hot Marques this week
Re: Hot Marques this week
Tonight should have been renamed the Hot Marques BMW night. I counted 11 in the pits at one point, mostly M3s and there were probably a few more out on track. Lots of straight line heros !! Orange and black lambos there again as well as a couple of 360's.
There were 3 other SE'rs on track
Pete039, Kayfur and 'Mr Knockhill' (as usual!)
Sanjoy watching too.
Pit lane opened at 1800. At 1801 there was a red flag !
Once the broken down scooby was cleared it was OK until a spate of 3 or 4 red flags in the last 45 mins. Didn't see it but heard the last one was quite spectacular. An Evo's front nearside tear shredded. Completely delaminated and car was pulled into the pit wall. Lot of debris all up the straight and I hear also flying over it too.
That was just before 1955 so ended the night.
Good to meet Flat Planed Crank too and looking forward to seeing your pics.
Cheers Mass too for the hooligan hurl in the large paddock area in the SLR

Cheers for the pax gents, think it was 80% vigins tonight form the BMW club of sorts. A tasty CSL, 400BHP M5, 500BHP M5 and a M3 SC convertible (I assume convertible as the bonnet had a A LOT of vents).

I was in the pits at the time, didn't get any pictures - was too busy hiding behind the pit wallDJ wrote: An Evo's front nearside tear shredded. Completely delaminated and car was pulled into the pit wall. Lot of debris all up the straight and I hear also flying over it too.![]()

Was that the turquoise blue one ? Noticed the SC badge on the back although don't think the SC would have seen much use as wasn't being driven very hard - even I passed it ! Oh, and I thought it was a convertible too, but that was because it didn't have a roof !!Sanjoy wrote:... and a M3 SC convertible (I assume convertible as the bonnet had a A LOT of vents).
