Verian made sure that I had everything for FF6.

1. Hi viz jacket.
2. Triangle.
3. First Aid kit.
4. GB sticker.
5. Spare bulb set. (All car lamps, lenses and reflectors must be in working order at all times - failure to replace a broken bulb could result in a spot fine so always carry spares for all your car lights)
6. Fire extinguisher. (If you fail to render assistance in the event of a fire or take necessary precautions to prevent a fire from escalating is an offence.) This does not apply to British sheep.
7. E111 medical form.
8. Packet of 12.

ps bollocks, just realised that I have not arranged European breakdown cover with the AA. Do we need extra insurance cover nowadays, or will the frogs actually treat us for free in their Bastilles?

Just checked online for AA European breakdown cover, and the robbing barsteward want £41 for three days, and that is for one of their best customers. It was only £51 for 21 days last year for FF6.

Any body else managed better?

I did the same, took out UK AA cover and Euro before FF. I then found out I was covered for 2 years (inc. Europe) by Lotus Assistance.
You must be too Scotty?

AA were able to put my UK cover on hold until next year but the Euro cover is seperately underwritten so couldn't defer it and lose most of the fee to cancel. :rage

Just phoned them and got it down to £35, but something is bound to break over four trackdays, so tis still value for money, and the service at the end of Stelvio 2004 was fantastic.

Taxis, hire cars, chauffeured Limo, plane ticket, hotel, car transported home. Have never had a bad word to say about my AA backup.

Hi guys

For Thursday night here's our meeting point down at Walshy's - then we'll head to B&B drop cars, out for dinner and a few liveners  :thumbsup

there's a pub called The Green Man just down the road, so everyone can meet up there. The address is very similar to the B&B -

The Green Man, The Street, Takeley, Herts CM22 6QU

I'm hoping to be there by 6

Andy :cheers

I'll meet you guys at North Weald on Friday morning. Are we starting at 0900 ?
A client has just booked a meeting at 1600 on Thursday so I can't skive off at lunchtime as planned.

I have managed to juggle a few things and now plan on heading south on Thursday, sorry Peter.

Depending on what time I leave, I might make it to the The Green Man to meet you guys.

Are there any beds left in the B&B?

If not, will sort somehting else out and catch up with you on the Friday.

Cheers.
