It shows up well in the pic considering it's a photocopy of a picture and stapled to a cardboard stand. Why didn't I just photoshop it out?

Well spotted. Only recently put the baffles in as I kept setting off car alarms at my office underground carpark! Its a new job so didn't want to pee anyone off.

I have an eye for baffles,

i dislike them, mine lives in my cupboard in a box labled "bike bits" with such things as the original rear fender, and indicators.

i remeber an 848 coming up behind me and i though "ooh my exhaust must be blowing" as it was louder than usual, looked behind and there was a pearl white one! yum yum,

Mickie, I love the looks of the 999. It certainly looks different to anything else on the road. Never noticed the lack o fairing under the fuel tank before. Looks cool being able to see the side of the cam cover. 8)

I can definitely see myself getting a 999 once my riding ability is up to it!!

(that's if there's still any around by then! )

Bikes are the future!

Cheers,

Dave.

Dave,
Like the street triple, thought about getting one for her in doors. Lot like the speed trip only lighter. Is that a buell parked up next to it?

who owners the other bike dave?

bikes are great, even in the wet, last week i just couldnt stop playing even in the rain, did roughly 1000miles

yesterday had a great one, moved off from traffic lights, turned left into a 50mph zone, opened throttle, and wooohooo sideways, then corrected it and then it went off to the other side, then i closed throttle, gripped and moved off. I love doing that when you know its coming!!

I like the 999, was recently looking at a 749 in yellow, hmmmmm
