Hi Guys

Just to say some of you have been sent the paperwork (previously), so it may be spam or email address errors. Either way in a most cases this should be solved by a simple re-send.

I'm not making excuses for all of it, nor would I, and thanks for posting, as speaking to Ali, Zach who is helping him out at the moment (around the garage and with his admin & invoicing  )is going to get on this first thing tomorrow morning.

This thread simply echo's what I've been saying to Ali about getting this sorted in time for peoples cars being picked up, so he can avoid having to sort this many at once.

Zach will post up who he has emailed invoices to asap.

To be fair Andy, there is no excuse. Neither the likes of MMC or Falkland Performance would get away with this. It's not like some are a few days late getting their paperwork. It's been months.
I've basically been chasing this since 1st week in May (once I took ownership) after the car was serviced in April. This thread proves it's not just me. I've counted 13 individuals having the same problem. As you all know I'm selling the 340R but I have no proof of my C service carried out this year so I'm likely to put it bluntly - fcuk should someone ask to see it.

It's really quite simple. Spend a couple of evenings with the books in front of Ali / Zach/ you (although you've told me that SLS has nothing to do with you) and get the paperwork done. Everyone is happy, job done.
Lots of threads over the past few months promoting SLS but I fear stuff like this does nothing but put doubt in peoples mind.

I look forward to seeing my receipt in my gmail account today. I will resend my original information.

Cheers
Gareth

I understand your obvious frustration Gareth - let Zach & Ali get on this and sort it today. Of the 13 people you've counted, Andy has stated that invoices have been emailed to several, so let's not bury Ali completely - obviously it's a poor situation and not acceptable. Hopefully, this should be sorted out in full today - Zach has only just started helping out with Ali and has understandably had a fair amount to help clear up.

This is meant to be a bit of constructive criticism rather than a moan. No one expects flashy waiting rooms etc when you are having work done by a specialist, but if you are handing over a car you have paid over £30k for to be worked on, the service does need to be professional. That means good paperwork, on time - i.e when you pick the car up. And you should be able to pay by card, not just cash or cheque. I did get a receipt after my service, but only after a few weeks and several reminders, and the invoice is just a plain document which doesn't have a the SLS logo on top, and there was no job sheet detailing the work carried out. It doesn't look good, and importantly probably would not impress a prospective buyer of the car when the time comes.

We all know Ali is a good guy you can trust, really knows his stuff on the cars, and we all want thim to do well, but a little more polish on the business/paperwork side of things would be good for all concerned.

I think all the feedback has now been delivered - including constructive suggestions etc, which I'm sure will be appreciated and taken in the spirit they are intended.

Further matters relating to conducting of business with SLS should probably go direct now - much in the same way as MMC issues used to be picked up by Pauline or Graeme then taken offline.

I got my invoice on the day, in paper, from Ali when I collected the car, so no problem there. I'd be keen to have a copy of the A service checklist too though, but I'm not sure if Ali can do that as he's not an official Lotus service centre?

I've not had my invoice yet, but I was only in on the 14th Oct for an A service.

Can we please read Campbell's moderation on this folks?

No positives to be gained now from continuing the thread - I know Ali is well aware of it and the issues are being dealt with as I speak. Much better to conduct business dealings directly, as the thread has served the intended purpose of raising the matter to the fore.

Cheers all.

Hi,

First of all, I would like to offer my sincere apologies for the delay that you have all experienced with regard to receiving invoices for work done on your cars. I am currently working through each request with Ali with the objective of having all out standing requests dealt within the next few days.

I would also like to take this opportunity to let you know that invoices are now being supplied with the car on collection.

Apologies again for the delay and any inconvenience caused.

Kind Regards,
