Ken,
Jack Bruce owned, and lived on, Sanda Island just off Dunaverty Rock, Southend at the time that Cream broke up. Both visible in the photo.
He ran his speed boat up onto that beach one evening in 1970 when me and a mate were camping and had a chat with us.
We were 14 so it left a big impression especially as I was from Govan Road and he was from Harmony Row.

Crap should have got that as I have been to Sanda and the owner mentioned it used to be owned by Jack Bruce. How cool is that meeting him. I have seen him live playing with Cream but never met him
