Oh jeez tut hope you aren't suffering too much.tut wrote:Taking Khan for a walk, decided to take him to the dog exercise area in Aden Park for the first time, too far to walk and he could not get the knack of jumping into the boot so I climbed in to show him, he then jumped in, knocked me over, I fell out and landed on my hip, heard and felt it crack, Khan thought it was a game and jumped all over me, Verian heard my screams and called an Ambulance.
Small Quick Responce one arrived first followed by its big brother, took me to Hospital, X-Ray and Docs confirmed that the pelvis was broken, not the hip, has to heal by itself, took some painkillers and the Ambulance bought me back home.
Good news is that I do not have to stay in, no info yet as too how long recovery will take though. Could have been a worse result.
Bloody painful so time for a large Laphroaig.
