Biggest problem was that Khan would not let anybody catch him, tore around the front garden as if it was a game with the gates open, but he has no traffic sense. Finally came over when they were wrapping blankets around me to lick my face, usual track suit and bare feet, but lying in the snow.

Tried biting on my fleece when they went to put me on a stretcher, but they had to give me laughing gas. Problem was it was sore on my hip, but it was shooting through to my groin as well and giving the old lightning conductor a hard time.

When we got home I was able to get into the wheelchair in the Ambulance, and they then transferred me to my massage chair in the lounge, so I am now fairly comfortable.

No thanks to Khan though who was let in from the garden, had not seen me for a couple of hours when I was taken away by men in a van, so jumped up onto my lap and licked me to death.

I also have an electric bed, so should be able to sit up in that to watch TV, and the new lightweight Netbook has come into its own with a six hour battery life.

As I said, could be worse.

Moral of the story throw in a dog treat rather than jumping in the car Hope your back to yourself soon Rememeber and rip it for everything its worth, Breakfast in bed, a wee massage etc etc

Tut, anything I can do to help, you know where I am ... you old loony! Look on the bright side, you managed the whole of the DP without a hitch - imagine how pi$$ed off you would be if this had happened last weekend!!

Taking Khan for a walk, decided to take him to the dog exercise area in Aden Park for the first time, too far to walk and he could not get the knack of jumping into the boot so I climbed in to show him, he then jumped in, knocked me over, I fell out and landed on my hip, heard and felt it crack, Khan thought it was a game and jumped all over me, Verian heard my screams and called an Ambulance.

Small Quick Responce one arrived first followed by its big brother, took me to Hospital, X-Ray and Docs confirmed that the pelvis was broken, not the hip, has to heal by itself, took some painkillers and the Ambulance bought me back home.

Good news is that I do not have to stay in, no info yet as too how long recovery will take though. Could have been a worse result.

Bloody painful so time for a large Laphroaig.
