You can go through Bell & Colvill and they will send them to Lotus for re-trimming. But, it's £282 + Vat per seat

At least you know it would be done properly (ish)

Did you try the upholsterers in Cupar - Evelyn Johnson's? I am sure she still has a shop close to Libo's Chippie on the Bonnygate. Never used her myself but did think about finding out if she could retrim the alcantara on my steering wheel.

The other option may be to buy S2 seats via the 'bay and flog your old ones

Just seen this thread.

One of the Joiners working on "The Pleasuredome" had a complete retrim on a Capri RS3100 completed by Tayside.

The work looked pretty good to me......and the price seemed very reasonable.

If you can stand the wait.......the Factory boys do a good job as well .....albeit much dearer

:cheers

As i would like a little feedback on the quality of the workmanship. Both seat bolsters, and new foam in the seats. Also the sill covers £180.00 ????????? What do you think ??????
I think ScottD on here had the same thing done to his seats by the Tayside folk IIRC.

Just been to Evelyn Johnson's In Cupar. They seem to have a good set up there, and were busy. Got a even better price for the job. Including collection of seats from my house. They are willing to work on them on a Saturday, so i can have my car back on the road Monday morning. I think im going to give them a try. Does anyone know how the sill covers come off ???

Just got my seats back today. They were collected, and delivered back to me. Both seat bolsters done, and new foam in the bum of the seat. Both sill covers done. All top quality work, and back to as new. For a whopping £150. Pure bargain.
I will post this on the technical part.

Stew that is looking 8)

Must bear this in mind, the sill covers on UJI are a wee bit tired now. Seats OK as I put Corbeau inserts in a few years ago. Might get the inserts covered match the navy alcantara in my door panels though ...

Mike told me that he can get them done. However they are not on his premises. As he does not have the extractors fans, for fumes. I think i will also get mine done. as you can see in the photos i have a nice scratch on my seat from my pocket of jeans .
