Had to feel for Massa's family - thinking they had it and then on live tv realising they had lost it. Plus Massa was clearly told as well he had it.
All I can say is not for the first time this season thank you rain
Congrats Lewis
THANK FECK I WILL NEVER HAVE TO LISTEN TO THE C*CK AGAIN WHOOHOO!

I'm sorry, but it really isn't clear to me how you could possibly call Hamilton's dad a tosser. Do you know him? What has he done to you? All you ever see is a few minutes coverage every other week at what is inevitably a stressful time for him and you call him a tosser. Would you call him a tosser to his face? I don't think so. Nice work.

Still, his dad worked his ass off to make sure lewis had a career in motorsport, so I can forgive a few personality traits....
Anyway, that had to be the most dramatic finish to a race and a championchip since mansell blew a tyre in '86.... Looking forward to next year, with the downforce related rule changes

Strangely underwhelmed
Although neither had a great or flawless season I think hamilton deserved it so i'm pleased on that note. However the race was so surreal at the end that it almost took the shine off things as you didnt get a chance to enjoy the build up to the win as we'd all assumed massa had it. Does that make sense?
Anyway best man won and i'm looking forward to massa coming into next year as a force to be reckoned with

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

Delighted for Lewis.
Worthy Champion.
And may be for some years to come.
Disappointed with the Brazilian fans but not with Massa or Ferrarri.
Top drawer also.
Take care,
Frank

I'm dreading the way this whole Hamilton World Champion thing is going to get rammed down our throats by the media for the forseeable future.
But, he certainly deserved the title more than anyone else at the end of the day.
However, Hamilton could learn a thing or two about dignity from Massa. I thought the way he handled the post race press conference was brilliant. Couldn't have been easy for him

Hamiltons Dad is doing what parents do and looking out for his kid's. Can't fault the guy for that.
Any sport at this level is a tough game but probably even more so in F1.
Lewis well deserved the title this year

Good to see the Brits winning again
Shame Ron Denis only felt the need to thank the English fans

Excellent result for Hamilton, really felt Massa deserved the title overall though. A very scrappy season by Hamilton, way too many mistakes, he's very fortunate the best driver on the grid (Alonso) hasn't been in a more competitive car this year.
Now we get to look forward to BBC's ideas of F1 coverage, some of which sound superb, plus no more advert breaks
