NLC Some Fireworks shots

Post by Skyenet » Sat Nov 08, 2008 12:51 am

Managed to try out some fireworks shots over the last week. My mate in Livingston put on a display last Saturday and weather stayed dry and managed to get some shots including some of his rather spectacular bonfire

On 5th November the weather here was damp so didn't end up trying to get shots of the local fireworks display at Strathclyde Park. Just ended up having some Garden fireworks which were good value.

Tried out some shots of sparklers and can be good fun drawing pictures/ writing with them.

Great pics :thumbsup 8) I love the ones of the sparklers.

Heather got some great pics at Glasgow Green on Thursday night. The display was really good and even though it's just a compact Canon camera, it took some great pics of the fireworks. Hopefully she'll pop along later today and post them up :thumbsup

the reason people don't show up in the sparkler ones by the op,

is cause they will have been constantly moving, thus not actually registering on the camera sensor, as during a long exposure time, if you keep moving you will not appear, yet if something is stationary, it will.

the one above this post, the people will have been standing still yet moving there arm with the sparkler, therefore they get registered onto the sensor and appear.
